AI Operations Assistant: Production Deployment for a Government Agency

AI Public Sector

Client: a government agency in the European Union (name withheld under NDA)

A full production implementation of an AI Operations Assistant: predictive integration and API health monitoring, a real-time health dashboard, an executive decision-support assistant, and auto-generated integration documentation.

  • Scale: 39 source systems, approximately 230 integrated APIs
  • Timeline: 6-month implementation, completed end of April 2026
  • Status: live in production

The challenge

The client, a government agency operating across a large, interconnected system landscape, needed to modernize how it managed and monitored integration between 39 core systems and roughly 230 internal and external APIs. Issues were often discovered only after they had already affected service delivery, and leadership had no direct way to see how the integration layer was performing without waiting on reports from technical teams.

What we delivered

Simplelogic designed, built, and deployed a full AI Operations Assistant covering four integrated components: predictive monitoring of integration and API health, a real-time dashboard giving operations teams a live view of system status, a conversational decision-support assistant giving executives and staff plain-language answers about service and system performance, and an auto-generated documentation layer that keeps the integration landscape mapped and up to date as it evolves. The engagement ran for six months and was completed at the end of April 2026; the solution has been running in production since.

Results

Specific performance figures are covered by client confidentiality and cannot be shared publicly. What we can say: the predictive failure-detection capability has performed excellently in production, catching integration issues before they escalate. Customer-facing service has become noticeably faster, and the client has reported a meaningful improvement in overall service quality since go-live, direct evidence that giving both operations teams and decision-makers real-time, AI-driven visibility changes how quickly and effectively an organization can respond.

Why it matters

This is the same solution architecture, predictive monitoring, live dashboard, decision-support assistant, and self-maintaining documentation, validated not as a prototype but as a production system running against a real, large-scale government integration environment. It shows the approach holds up at scale, under real operational pressure, and delivers results an agency is willing to build its ongoing operations around.
